| Art Reog |
Reog is one of the cultural arts originating from East Java to the north-west and Ponorogo is considered as the real home town of Reog. Ponorogo city gate is decorated by the figure of warok and gemblak, two figures who participated in the show when reog performed. Reog is one of the regional culture in Indonesia is still very thick with things that smell mystical and strong psychotherapy.

Reog show in Ponorogo in about 1920's. Bujangganong dancer standing on the left. Reog (or Rajawana, "the king of the jungle") is played by two people. Some horse dancers also accompany, complete with trance scenes. The modern version of reog (rajawana) Ponorogo is played by one person.
