"Warok" derived from the word wewarah is a person who has the determination of holy, giving guidance and protection without selfless. Warok is wong 88 sugih wewarah (a person who is rich in wewarah). That is, a person becomes warok because it can give instructions or teaching to others about good life.Warok "iku wong kang wus purna saka sakabehing laku, lan wus menep ing rasa" (Warok is a person who has perfect in the behavior of his life, and arrived at inner deposition).
Warok is a character / characteristic and soul of the Ponorogo people who have ingrained since the first inherited by the ancestors to the next generation. Warok is part of the art of Reog art that is inseparable with other models in Reog Ponorogo art unit. Warok is a person who really master the science of both birth and mind.
